CCM Background

Since 2002 Global fund has been fighting HIV, TB and Malaria. COVID 19 was added in 2021. It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and provides financial support to over 100 countries in the response to the three national disease programs. It's Purpose is to help achieve the MDGs #s 4, 5, 6 & 8 now known as SDG # 3 (Good Health & Well-being for all).

In all countries where Global Fund is in operation there are Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs) which are a national partnership governing body representing Government, Civil Society, Dev Partners and Communities affected by the diseases. In 2011, the Eswatini CCM was legally registered under the Eswatini Companies Act, 2009 Eswatini CCM reports to the Prime Minister’s Office
